CMC Danceworks Policies

Monthly fees for your class or classes are due on the 1st or the first class of every month, paid by, cash, or cheque, only. Post dated cheques for the entire dance season are advisable. If fees have not been received by the 15th of the month classes will be suspended until that month and the next month are paid in full. There are no exceptions. Gst must be paid on all fees.

Returned cheques will be charged a $35.00 NSF fee. If there is a second returned cheque, all chequing privileges are revoked.

There are no refunds on classes paid for. This is why we only charge by the month.

The cost of all classes is based on an average of 4 classes per month. If we must cancel a class or classes every effort will be made on our part to replace the missed class. We do not replace your missed class if for whatever reason you did not attend.

Costume deposits (not including fundraising) made throughout the year are refundable less a 25% administration fee up to and no later than January, 15th, 2009. This will only be refunded if your monthly fees are paid up to date in full.

BALLET- Black Bodysuit, Pink Ballet Tights, Pink Leather Ballet shoes

JAZZ- Black Bodysuit, Beige or Black Tights (depending on level) Black leather Jazz shoes

TAP- Black Bodysuit, Beige Tights, Black Tap Shoes

ACRO- Black Bodysuit, Black or Beige Convertible Tights, Black Booty Shorts, Bare Feet

HIP HOP- T-Shirt or Tank (White or Black), Black Jazz Pants, Indoor Only Black Running Shoes
 *THERE ARE TO BE NO BELLY SHIRTS, LOW PANTS OR OUTDOOR SHOES TO BE WORN IN ANY CLASS. PAJAMA BOTTOMS ARE BANNED FROM ALL CLASSES*
All hair is to be pulled away from the face in a bun and securely fastened. Bangs are to be pulled back as well. Please do not wear any plastic headbands as they tend to fly off during class. NO JEWELRY, NO EXCEPTIONS. No Ballet skirts for any classes. Not following the dress code may result in sitting out a class.
Please consult Miss Corinna before purchasing any dancewear on your own to insure that you will be purchasing what is required for the class.
- Be on time and prepared for your class at least 10-15 minutes prior to start of class (warm-up and stretch) especially senior students.
- GUM, DRINKS AND CELLPHONES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE STUDIO
- Personal problems are left outside the classroom
- Respect the space of fellow dancers
- ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU ARE UNSURE
- Be considerate and friendly with all students
